115 Hours, 700 Images...

Over the years, I shot 115 hours of DV tape, and shot 700 medium-format stills as well.  It required a long time to figure out the narrative, which took its own twists and turns that no one could have predicted.

Spending so much time in the town resulted in a deep level of trust with the people. The interviews are not just about fishing,  they concern spirituality, family, life itself.
